Early Music Vancouver (EMV) is proud to present Le Concert Spirituel: Baroque Orchestra Suites. Legendary violinist and Tafelmusik Baroque Orchestra Musical Director Emerita Jeanne Lamon will lead sixteen members of the Victoria Baroque Players in a performance of grand overture suites and ravishing concerti grossi by Telemann, Rebel, Geminiani, and Delalande, celebrating the first-ever European public concert series.

Le Concert Spiritual  — launched in Paris in 1725, brought music previously exclusive to the royal courts to the public realm and introduced audience members to an incredible roster of talented musicians from France and beyond; thereby, transforming the way music is shared to this very day.
