Grammy Award-winning folk trio I'm With Her kicks off the Canadian leg of their international tour at the Chan Centre for the Performing Arts on Sunday, Sept. 30 at 7pm.

Celebrating the release of their critically-acclaimed debut album, See You Around, the acoustic trio have earned accolades as collaborators as well as individual musicians in the folk and progressive bluegrass genres. Sara Watkins (fiddle) was a founding member of the Grammy Award-winning Nickel Creek, Sarah Jarosz (mandolin) recently won Best Folk Album at the 2016 Grammys, and Aoife O'Donovan (guitar) was the lead singer of the Boston-based bluegrass band Crooked Still.

While the folk band predates the slogan made famous in 2016 by presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton, I'm With Her speaks to the camaraderie expressed in the trio's triumphant entry into the bluegrass realm, typically dominated by male musicians.
