New York City’s Dai Burger headlines Glitter Ball in Vancouver on May 23, 2020. The self-proclaimed “rainbow rap” icon is bringing a pop of colour to this year's festival, which features exclusively women and gender diverse artists. Hailing from Queens, Dai Burger got her start as a backup dancer for rappers like Lil Mama, but has since grown to be a quintessential name in New York City’s underground scene. Her latest release “Bite the Burger” features sex-positive, raunchy lyrics featuring club and trap sounds to keep you bouncing.
Tickets for the festival are on sale now via Showpass for $25. Cushy offers accessibility pricing for those unable to attend for financial reasons. We also are open to providing media passes and free entry to industry professionals. All volunteers get in free. To participate, contact info@cushyentertainment.com.

Cushy Entertainment is a Vancouver-based productions and promotions company focused on hosting diverse and accessible events. The company is owned and managed by Mati Cormier and Aly Laube, two young women who are longstanding members of the local arts community. Their intention with Glitter Ball is to provide a platform for marginalized artists to claim their space and showcase their talent in what is normally a very male-dominated industry.
