Fabulist Theatre presents DRACULA: A modern radio play based on a spooky classic

  • CBC 700 Studio 700 Hamilton Street Vancouver, BC, V6B 2R5 Canada (map)

Investigative journalist Harker and his fiancée Mina have uncovered a bone-chilling story which tells of night stalkers, terrible illnesses and great beasts. Dispatched by his mysterious employer on a hunt for the truth, Harker journeys deep into the rural Carpathian mountains. There, with a group of deranged vampire hunters, Harker discovers he must thwart the source of the evil itself: Dracula.

This modern adaptation by Adam Darts revisits Bram Stoker's story in the "old-school" format of a radio play. A cast of skilled performers will read the script live as sound effects create the haunted atmosphere of Transylvania for a truly unique and memorable Halloweekend event.

Featuring:
Steven Simpson as Harker
Kathryn Robinson as Mina
Lennora Esi as DeVille
Nemo Cartwright as Van Helsing
Ella Storey as Renfield
Omer Aubin as Holmwood
Alexander Zavorotny as Quincey

(Please be advised that this reading of DRACULA is in the format of a radio play only. It is produced independently by Fabulist Theatre and will not be broadcast on CBC Radio).

Tickets are $20/$18 + fees and are available at the door or online
