Che Malambo is an all male Argentinian dance company presenting their international dance sensation at the QET on April 11th. Known for lightning-fast footwork and smoldering intensity of flamenco and tango, Che Malambo thrusts into the spotlight the art of the ‘gaucho’, South America’s answer to the cowboy. Traditionally, dueling gauchos would face each other in the ultimate dance off through feats of stamina and skill, utilizing the zapateo style of breakneck footwork.
