This month, we get to enjoy the work of Lindsey Hampton, ceramicist and graphic designer. Hampton’s ceramic figures portray a friendly optimism, happy to pose for the camera, as they float in the foreground. The texture of the grapes and clementines, resting cozily within each bowl, seems almost surreal next to the smoothness of Hampton’s work. I feel as though I’m looking at an ancient Greek still life, by way of the early 1990s.
